I met Bridgette and Adrian while I was photographing an elopement in Skye, and visited them at their home in Cuillin before departing back for London. What a beautiful, warm and loving couple. Newlyweds, these two are both adventure hikers, it was lovely to photograph these two during their downtime at home.

When I first met with Adrian he definitely did not think that he would be photogenic for the pictures, but anyone and everyone deserves to be photographed professionally at some point in their lives, so being an adventurer he opened up for the session, which I am glad that he did.

Sometimes, when we’re faced with the prospect of having photographs taken, we can feel uncomfortable and not know what to do or how we should stand. Their session was delicately prompted by me and I stood a fair way back to give them the space that they needed to feel comfortable and relaxed, which results in these natural, “love-captured-as-it-is” result. I’d love to be doing more of these sessions not just in Scotland, but also around the UK and Europe too, so if you’re not sure that you’re ready for pictures, but want to know if I think you are, just drop me a line and I can talk you through the process and put you at ease.
